The Kontinental Hockey League is taking advantage of the National Hockey League lockout by signing a “historic deal” for the league. Tuesday morning, the KHL announced a deal with “the worldwide leader in sports”.
The KHL and ESPN agreed to a deal that would broadcast regular season games on ESPN3 and to show on-TV broadcasts of the KHL Championship games, which is a pretty big step in trying to showcase their league. Right now, the schedule for the ESPN3 broadcasts are Dynamo Moscow vs Ak Bars on Oct. 3rd;Lev vs SKA on Oct. 6th; Slovan vs Dynamo Moscow on Oct. 7th; CSKA vs SKA on Oct. 8th; and Lev vs Dynamo Moscow on Oct. 9th.
More games are planned to be announced according to the KHL main website.
