St. Louis vs. Nashville preview

Tomorrow night at 7 p.m. the St. Louis Blues will visit the Bridgestone Arena to take on the Nashville Predators in what promises to be an entertaining match between divisional foes battling for playoff positioning.

St Louis, having lost their last two games, come into the game with a two game losing skid and are currently one point behind the Predators in the standings. Nashville had a five-game winning streak snapped on Thursday night by the Flyers.

The last two meetings between the Predators and the Blues have been Shootout victories for the Predators. Nashville is 3-0 against St. Louis this season, and they have three more head-to-head meetings left this season (including tomorrow).

Games to watch (all times CDT):

Los Angeles @ St. Louis tonight 7 p.m. – St. Louis plays a back-to-back by flying to Nashville after this game, and the Kings may have stolen a point in the standings. This game is the first for the Blues since the All-Star break.

Vancouver @ Colorado Saturday 2 p.m. – The Canucks are currently second in the Western Conference and are looking to bounce back from a shoutout loss to the Red Wings by taking on the Avalanche.

San Jose @ Phoenix Saturday 7 p.m. – San Jose is riding a three game winning streak and trying to add more distance between themselves and Los Angeles in a divisional battle.

Chicago @ Calgary Saturday 8 p.m. – The Blackhawks look to recover from a four game losing streak (that includes two losses to the Predators) with a trip to Calgary.

Detroit @ Edmonton Saturday 9 p.m. – The first place Red Wings go to Edmonton and hopefully will not create a larger gap between themselves and Nashville.
