After being sent down to the Milwaukee Admirals for a conditioning assignment Thursday, Matt Halischuk will return to the Nashville Predators' lineup just in time to play the Dallas Stars on the road.

Halischuk was on the Predators' roster throughout the conditioning assignment, which doesn't make it "recall". In two games with the Admirals in the AHL, Halischuk scored two goals, added an assist and, most importantly, gave him the game-like feel he has missed.

Due to the recent injuries to Patric Hornqvist Friday and Colin Wilson Saturday, Halischuk will be inserted into the lineup in his first game back. Hornqvist and Wilson were both put on injured reserve Monday with upper body injuries.

Meanwhile, forward Brandon Yip was activated from IR. Yip suffered an upper body injury March 2 against the San Jose Sharks when teammate Rich Clune fell on top of him. The Boston University graduate has missed the past three games while the Preds went 1-1-1.
