Hurricanes @ Predators Preview (Game 29)

The Nashville Predators (13-12-3) will play host to the Carolina Hurricanes (11-12-5) Thursday night in hopes of avoiding a 4 game winless homestand.  The Predators really need two points tonight before they hit the road on Saturday if they're going to stay in the playoff picture.  Meanwhile, the Hurricanes are looking to build on a 4-1 win in Washington Tuesday.  They are 2-0-1 in their past 3 and look to be gaining some momentum

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Nashville:   F Mike Fisher.  As Fisher goes, the team goes.  The Predators are 4-0-1 when Fisher scores a goal.

Carolina: F Eric Staal.  Staal has 21 points in 28 games so far this season and has definitely been the Hurricane’s best player.
