  • Nashville acquired its third-round pick from Tampa Bay in the Anders Lindback trade
  • Nashville acquired its first fourth-round selection from Toronto in the Matthew Lombardi/Cody Franson trade
  • Nashville acquired its second fourth-round selection from Buffalo in the Paul Gaustad trade
  • Nashville acquired its fifth-round selection from the New York Rangers in a pick swap at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft

Trades & Rumors

  • 7:23pm CT: TRADE – NSH trades #112 to STL for #203 and a 2014 fourth rounder
  • 5:09pm CT: 2nd round has begun and lots of trade chatter on the floor still.
  • 2:16pm CT: Poile is apparently talking to Steve Yzerman, GM of the Lightning, who holds the 3rd overall pick. S/t to Jeremy Gover of Cellblock 303. UPDATE: NO TRADE
  • 1:45pm CT: Adrian Dater of the Denver Post tweeted that Barkov is likely to be selected by the Panthers, 2nd overall.
  • 1:05pm CT: Lightning will not take Aleksander Barkov because his shoulder injury scares them too much. This allows the Predators the right away.
  • 12:51pm CT: Tampa Bay Lighning are high on Valeri Nichushkin and it is looking like he could go 3rd overall. This would leave Nashville in a situation where they could select Jonathan Drouin or Seth Jones.
  • 12:01pm CT: Predators staying quiet right now. Poile says it will take a lot for him to move back and it is unlikely he moves up.
