Thoughts on Both Teams

Predators: Nashville will look to close their four game home stand with a four game win streak Thursday night against the Coyotes. All four lines have been contributing to the scoring department, while the special teams players are doing their part to score and prevent goals.

It will be quite interesting to see if Barry Trotz makes any roster change, even though he shouldn't. The saying, "don't mess with success" applies in this situation. Inserting Matt Halischuk in the lineup may be the only adjustment, but it is still to be determined who would actually come out.

The three keys to victory for Nashville are 1) Beat them at their own game; 2) Stay out of the penalty box; and 3) Top lines need to produce.

Coyotes: Phoenix is now desperate for wins as they are now winless in their past seven games entering tonight's contest against the Predators. Their slump has dropped them in the standings and in fear that they won't return to playoff position.

Former Nashville Predator Steve Sullivan will play in his 1,000th game, conveniently at Bridgestone Arena. Sullivan is a fan favorite in Smashville and will forever be remembered in the Music City. He spent the years of 2004-11 as a Pred and scored 100 goals with the club.
