Kevin Henderson re-signed with the Nashville Predators Tuesday. His contract is a two-year, two-way deal that will be worth $550,000 at the NHL level and $75,000 at the AHL level next season, and $550,000 in the NHL and $80,000 in the AHL in 2014-15.
Henderson, 26, was set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. According to CapGeek, Henderson's newest contract will not have a pay increase at the NHL level, but will have a $25,000 increase at the AHL level.
The Toronto native played most of the season in Milwaukee, but was one of the few prospects who were called up towards the end of the season due to injuries. Henderson played four games in a Predators' uniform scoring one goal, which happened in his NHL debut.
In 67 games with the Admirals, Henderson posted 29 points (17g, 12a).
