Filip Forsberg has been re-called by the Predators from Milwaukee for his return NHL game since November 15. Forsberg will likely be on a line with fellow Swede Calle Jarnkrok. Both played on a dynamite line in Milwaukee prior to Jarnkrok's NHL debut Friday in Calgary.
This re-call is likely due to the Preds needing 12 healthy forwards, instead of 11. During the 6-5 win in Calgary, Trotz had a bench of 11 forwards and 7 defensemen because Patrick Eaves, Paul Gaustad and Nick Spaling were all unable to play. Spaling will be able to play tonight, but the Preds will be without Patric Hornqvist, who's wife had her first baby Saturday.
Forsberg will now have an opportunity to show the coaching staff how the experience in the World Juniors and AHL has enhanced his game.
Nashvill takes on Chicago tonight at 6pm to complete their four-game road trip.
