Josi, Moser make Team Switzerland for Sochi

Monday, the Swiss men's national team announced their 25-man roster heading to the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games in February. Roman Josi and Simon Moser made the team and will participate in their first Olympic Games.

In 2010, Josi was named on the roster for Vancouver, but was unable to play due to injury. In thirty-three games this season, Josi has three goals, ten assists and a -14 rating. Josi played for the Swiss national team in the 2013 World Championships and was awarded tournament MVP. In ten games, the twenty-three year old totaled nine points (four goals, five assists). It is hopeful that he repeats his success, but this time at the biggest stage.

Moser, 24, will likely be a bottom six guy for head coach Ted Nolan. Since signing an entry-level contract with the Predators, Moser has spent the entire 2013-14 season in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admirals. In twenty-nine games, the rookie has six goals, nine assists.

Prediction: Switzerland finished 4th, losing the bronze medal match.
