Head coach Barry Trotz and general manager David Poile are rewarding forward Simon Moser for his play as of late. Monday morning, the Nashville Predators re-called him up from the Milwaukee Admirals, after returning from Sochi just days ago, where he scored one of Switzerland's three goals in the men's tournament. Nashville, Tenn. (February 24, 2014) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Simon Moser from Milwaukee (AHL).
Moser, 24 (3/10/89), has appeared in his first three NHL contests with the Predators this season, recording an assist while averaging 11:06 of ice time. He’s also posted 25 points (8g-17a) in 42 games with the Admirals during his first North American professional season. The Bern, Switzerland native recently returned from the 2014 Olympics, where he scored the game-winning goal in the Swiss’ 1-0 victory over Latvia, and appeared in all four of the nation’s games.
