22-year old Swedish center Calle Jarnkrok is set to make his Nashville Predators debut Friday night when they take on the Calgary Flames in Alberta. Jarnkrok was acquired in a trade deadline day deal with the Detroit Red Wings, sending David Legwand back to Michigan and also acquiring Patrick Eaves.
Since entering the organization, Jarnkrok has played five games with the Milwaukee Admirals scoring seven points (5 goals, 2 assists).
The re-call is likely to replace Paul Gaustad, who suffered an upper body injury in the second period Wednesday in Vancouver. Barry Trotz labeled him as 'day-to-day' in his post-game interview.
