The Nashville Predators reacquired their 2011-12 captain of their AHL affiliate Scott Ford. While Ford was sent to Milwaukee, the St. Louis Blues acquired forwards Jani Lajunen and Andre Bouvet-Morrissette and goaltender Zoltan Hetenyi.
Defenseman Scott Ford has been played this entire season with the Peoria Rivermen in the AHL and is most likely going to be reunited with his former minor league club in Milwaukee. Jani Lajunen has been a decent forward with potential with the Admirals, but has yet to breakout. As many know, I have been high on Zoltan Hetenyi and pains me to see him out of the organization. Hetenyi is a breakout star in my books and the Blues will have another good goalie in the system.
Here is the Press Release sent out by the Nashville Predators.
