The Nashville Predators made a couple transactions Wednesday, prior to their match against the Tampa Bay LIghtning on the road. Goaltender Magnus Hellberg was reassigned to the Milwaukee Admirals after being on emergency re-call before Tuesday's match against the Chicago Blackhawks due to Marek Maanec being too ill to dress.
Also on the flight back to Milwaukee is Filip Forsberg, who was taken off injured reserve for the reassignment. According to the press release seen below, Forsberg missed the past fifteen games because of an upper body injury. It isn't out of the question that the nineteen year old could make it to Malmo to play in the World Juniors Championship for the Swedes. However, that decision will have to be made shortly and should come with in the next 48 hours.
Below are the press releases.
